Top-ups

Out of data? Add more to the eSIM you already have.

A top-up puts more data on an eSIM that is already installed on your phone. Same eSIM, same QR code, same line — you are not buying a second plan and you are not setting anything up again.

How to top up

  1. 1

    Open your eSIM

Sign in and go to your orders. Each eSIM you have bought is listed there with its current status.

  2. 2

    Choose a top-up

We ask the network what it can add to that exact eSIM and show you the packages that come back, with your price.

  3. 3

    Pay

Checkout works the same way as your original purchase. The data is added to the eSIM you already have.

  4. 4

    Keep going

No new QR code, no reinstall, no settings to change. The line on your phone simply has data again.

When a top-up works

  • Your eSIM has been issued — you already received the QR code.
  • The plan has not expired or been cancelled. Top up before it runs out rather than after.
  • The plan supports top-ups. Not all of them do, and the plan page says which before you buy.

We say so before you buy

Every plan page carries one of two lines: “Top-ups available”, or “No top-ups on this plan”. A plan that cannot be extended says so plainly — you should not find that out when your data runs out. Where we have not been able to confirm it with the network, we say nothing at all rather than guess.

Common questions

Does a top-up change where my eSIM works?
No. It adds data to the plan you already have, with the same coverage. To connect somewhere that plan does not cover, buy an eSIM for that destination — you can keep both installed.
Will I get a new QR code?
No. That is the point of a top-up. Nothing on your phone changes.
Can I top up after my plan expires?
No. Once a plan has expired we cannot add to it, so top up while it is still running. If it has already ended, buy a new eSIM.
What if my plan cannot be topped up?
Buy a new eSIM for the same destination. You can install it alongside the old one and switch over when you are ready.
Does a top-up cost the same as the original plan?
Not necessarily. Top-up packages are priced by the network separately from the plan you first bought, and we show you the price before you pay.

Every plan page tells you

You will see whether a plan can be topped up before you pay for it, not after.
